There is a ‘good girl’ narrative taking up room in our space that I really want to dismantle…and it’s likely not the one you’re thinking of.
Yes, we need to let go of the idea that you have to be a softer, milder version of yourself (this is such old news and somehow STILL permeates the female business owner persona), but the narrative I’m talking about is one between business coach and coaching client – and it could be impacting the results you’re seeing from that partnership and in your business in general.
That is why I went live in The Lit Up & Loaded Entrepreneur to discuss the ‘Good Girl’ Narrative in the coaching industry and how to ACTUALLY get results from coaching.
Tune in to hear how I’ve been seeing this show up for people and how to make sure you get the most out of your relationship with your coach – you hired them to help you do big things, so let’s not let socially-imposed mindset blocks like this one keep you from focusing on the things that directly impact the growing and scaling of your business (or from hiring the RIGHT people to help you do so)!
In this replay, you’ll hear:
- My ranty soap box (but not policing) around how the “good girl” narrative has changed in the coaching industry, what it looks like now, and why it’s so toxic for our space.
- Solutions for anyone feeling stuck in this “good girl” trap so you can start getting actual results from your coaching container.
- What self-responsibility truly looks like as a business owner working with a coach and how that will help you grow faster than trying to be perfect.
