I was chatting with my COO the other week about how “working” seems to get this bad rap nowadays.

It’s like you just can’t win, right?

If you’re working, you feel guilty… because you’re not “supposed” to work. If you’re not working, you feel guilty… because you’re “supposed” to be working.

We’re tired of tiptoeing around this lose-lose situation that has somehow been created in our industry, so we’re just going to come out and say it. We like to work.

*gasp*

In fact, we think it’s OKAY to work, and OKAY to like working, and even OKAY to choose work over other things sometimes. Sure, we’re about the kind of work that offers a work-life balance (and believe in a life-first approach to business so that your work supports your life), but also we really like to work and that’s totally cool.
