Q&A: Expectations for clients and results

My question is around finding that sweet spot with your messaging that communicates the results you can facilitate for your clients and also setting clear, realistic expectations about what’s in your power vs. theirs. I’m a marketing consultant and help clients with strategy and implementation. I know there’s an element of educating my audience and prospects about what’s possible for their business and growth with an intentional marketing strategy but there’s so much of the results that depends on their energy, particularly when it comes to projects like launches or new offers. How can I create messaging online that strikes this balance? Do you think sharing results (particularly ones about money and earnings) is always the most powerful approach? How do you calibrate expectations early on with your audience about what you deliver vs. what is a partnership?
